Ultimate Tree Houses

Tree Houses

We build The Only Tree Houses in the World That Come With their Own Tree! They're the most whimsical tree houses on the planet. Our designs invoke playful emotions in both young and old. They feature enormous recycled logs, whimsical playhouses, and authentic relics that range from wagon wheels to huge brass ship’s portholes. Each tree house is a fully functional play house, that doubles as a conversation centerpiece of your landscape and triples as a creator of memories that last a lifetime!
The ladder in the center of the huge, hollowed out log provides access to the trap door in the floor of the crooked clubhouse. We offer several designs and a list of options that give you a multitude of possibilities (or we can work with you to design and build a custom creation). Options include exterior stairs, balconies, spiral slides, bridges, cargo net railing, talk tubes, swings, monkey bars, bear carvings and more. We’re ready to work for you now! Give us a call and we’ll take it from there.

Mayberry Manor

We've got an amazing octagonal shaped tree house in stock and ready to ship. This house is 8' in diameter, has a bunk-bed loft, octagonal tower, left side balcony and custom made stained glass windows.

We can paint it any color scheme you want, or with a little more customization, create an awesome haunted mansion theme.

Haunted Hide Out

Billys Barn

Sometimes you just wanna kick back and take it slow. Rain (like in these pics) or shine, Billy's Barn is just the place to do it.  It's where kids can act like kids, and adults can too.

La Jolla Lighthouse
(Pronounced La Hoya like Oscar De)

This amazing tree house is located in La Jolla, CA. It features a 8' X 8' clubhouse on top and a 14' diameter catwalk that wraps around the house! The hollow log was big enough to be its own playhouse with it's 4'x4' floor! It overlooks the ocean at La Jolla, so we gave it a bit of a nautical feel. It also features a steel spiral staircase and a rope and pulley system so the kids can lift their toys and snacks up to the second story! Playground components include monkey bars, 3 swings and a spiral slide.

Typhoon Tikki

Only the strongest can survive on this desert island. We must build a Tiki Hut out of our wrecked pirate ship until the weather lets up.

When it does, we'll build a raft that will take us far away from this terrible island and back into the living room for some much needed TV and popcorn.

That was fun.

Builder Bears

Join our mascots Sam and Bubba along with a few friends on a whimsical tree house building party! These guys are working overtime trying to get the tree house ready before all of their buddies show up! Sam is rearin' back and swinging the big mallet while Bubba's wincin' and holding the nail and hoping not to get hit (again)! Chip is holding up the swing waiting for his ole' pal Chuck as he's diggin' in the barrel for some more nails. All the while the whole shootin' match is teetering on an old stack of crates and barrels.

Pirate Oasis

What is the natural environment for a Pirate Ship? Water! In this Pirate Oasis, we took a custom Scallywag Sloop and added a custom captain's quarters connected by a bridge.

We added a turbo slide and a rope swing to complete this Oasis playset. The captain's quarters double as a pool changing room.

We know the hours of fun we had installing it is nothing compared to the fun they will have playing on this Pirate tree house for years to come.

Lincoln Lodge

The "Lincoln Lodge" is a whimsical cottage/cabin style tree house that spans a total of 3 huge logs.

It's all cedar construction and built stout as can be! It has swings, interior fold up tables and more.

Grizzly Adams

We know that many of you out there really enjoy log homes and log cabins, and recently we received a request to build a log cabin tree house. This design is based on our standard Monkey Mansion tree house, however it's sided with real log home logs! We also created a swing beam out of a 12" diameter log and hired ol' Big Bubba the bear to stand around for the rest of his life holding up his end of the swing beam just for the family's special little ones. The Moose antlers came straight from Alaska!

Fort Fresno

Here's a great project that was first featured at the Big Fresno Fair 2005. This Fresno Fair's children's attraction is named "Fort Fresno." This playground is made entirely of cedar and redwood logs. The four redwood stumps under each corner were salvaged from northern California, and are each at least 800-2000 years old. The unique cedar logs which make up the turrets and walls were trucked in from eastern Texas especially for Fort Fresno. This structure is approximately 50' x 50' and has 4 lookout clubhouses, 3 huge slides, a giant swing bridge and 4 "hide-and-seek" redwood cowboy and indian carvings!
This set was made for a busy fair grounds in Fresno, CA.  The pirate ship is broken into three pieces, and each piece is elevated a different distance off the ground.  Sounds simple, right?  Well, there's more.

Fiesta de Pirates

Elevated walkways, decks, swing bridges, and stairs connect all the ship parts together.  There's also a fully stocked treasure room in the mid-section, as well as more treasure in the captain's quarters.  Tall masts rise up here and there, complete with sails.  On top of all that, fully outfitted pirates can be found on this ship.  One is even holding a pig as he sits on the plank dangling his legs.

Danger Thar be Pirates!

"Danger, Pirates!" was built for a lucky group of kids in Southern California... The theme is "Victorian meets the Jungle via a Shipwreck feel". One side boasts an 8' diameter log with a spiral staircase (inside of the hollow log) that leads into the 8'x8' clubhouse. One doorway leads to a pirate ship bow, another to a balcony with a slide and another stair case, and the third door leads onto a bouncy swing bridge that connects to the 2 story Victorian playhouse. The whole sha-bang has outdoor accent lighting, electrical outlets, hardwood floors, and Lexan windows. The final touches included several carvings and a 4" thick, poured in placed fall surface! Any guess who the most popular kids on the block are now?

Clares Castle

Yes, you've got it right, it's a castle tree house, or is it a "Tree Castle?" You decide. Either way, this house is great for little girls, but could easily be modified for boys or for boys and girls! The interior is 6x6 feet with a ladder and slide hole. The entire house is electrified, complete with inside and outside lighting. The exterior is completely stuccoed and even features faux "rocks." You'll notice all of the Extreme Makeover: Home edition shirts on the workers... that's cause we built this unit for the Elcano episode during Season 2 of Extreme Makeover: Home  edition. It was our second appearance on that show.
The dragon was carved entirely on site during the filming of the show by our master carvers

Franciscan Castle

Castles, castles, everywhere! Here's a brand new design we call the "Franciscan Castle." It's a two story tree house and playhouse combination. This castle style tree house is covered in stucco and artifical stamped "stones."
The little ones can enter the lower level club house by going through the door and tunnel in the log. There's even a "secret storage" area for toys in the lower level club house. The uppper story can be accessed via a ladder in the log or an external staircase that wraps around the back. The taller turret even features a raised platform for view those imaginary "far off" lands!

St. James Castle

If you think you've seen a castle like this before from us, you're right. We've made a bunch of small changes to our "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 'Ashley's Castle'" Tree House to come up with this awesome new design! This one's more cartoony, more fun and the log's all redwood. Our friendly dragon is all redwood on this one also. We thought some of the young princess fans out there might love to check this one out! These photos were taken during construction, so we hope you don't mind the sawdust and extension cords!

St. James Castle

Jahn Castle

Our trusty builder bears got together recently to build this all wood castle! The clubhouse is 2 story, with each floor measuring 6'x8'. It includes a spiral slide, carved wooden stair case, a draw bridge, windows, towers and more! The bears had to be extra clever to build it all in pieces that could fit into a store in Texas. We think they did a great job!

Pasadena Promenade

You're invited to stroll your way through the Pasadena Promenade! Built for slumber parties, it sports 2, huge, 10' diameter, 20,000 lb+  logs, and 2 extra large, custom clubhouses with bunk beds, tempered glass windows, insulation and electricity! A bridge winds its way through and around the trees from one clubhouse to the other. A small, running creek snakes its way from the top end of the grove down under the bridge and ends in a small pond near the edge of the yard.
When you cross the bridge, don't forget to pet the bear who sits on the rail, fishing in the pond below.

Owens Bait shop

We call this little hideaway "Owen's Bait Shack"! Now, you might be wonderin' how we come up with a look like this- the answer is pretty simple. We just see what kinda' ol' junk we have around the yard and we act a lot like we did when we were kids back home on the ranch! Those were the days that we were allowed to manage our free time however we saw fit... as long as Dad didn't think we looked bored... like if we watched TV he'd sat "C'mon guys... ya look bored... I've got some work fer ya ta do!" "No thanks" we'd say. "We got plenty to do already!" So we grew up like Tom Saywer and Huck Finn... and we built clubhouses outta' stuff from around the ranch... a lot like what you see here! This really is a one of a kind tree house that started with an incredible lookin' ol' log. We'll probably never duplicate it, but you can bet we can build you something just as cool!

Redneck Retreat

Here's our idea of a Victorian farm house theme. We woke up feelin' a little frisky the day we came up with this treehouse design... heck, why not put a truck up on a log. Makes sense to us! The hand made, stained glass windows add a great touch as well. The back of the stake bed truck serves as a balcony. The kids can climb on though the back of the truck cab, and into the driver's seat for a trip of the imagination! The playhouse is fit for a square dancin' shindig with it's 8'x8' floor

The Monstro

Introducing the Monstro Tree House. It features a huge, 8’-10’ diameter, old growth redwood log! The total height of the structure is 18'. The log has about a 4'x4' hollow area in the center of the log that doubles as a playhouse. You can also take a staircase up to the rear balcony, and enter the clubhouse through the back door.

Tree top Towers

Similar to the Bassville configuration, Tree Top Towers features our ever classic color scheme:  barnyard red with white trim.

Cargo net railing was used, shedding a lot of daylight onto the play structures. Swings and monkey bars were also added to entertain plenty of kids.

Bassville

If one tree house isn't enough for you, you know we could always add another one and connect them with a bridge, right?

The Bassville configuration is just one of many examples of how modular we can go with these things. For example, these two neighbors are perpendicular to each other creating some dynamic. There is tons of deck space and a third downstairs club house provides even more interior space.

The caramel stain shown gives it that natural wood look that creates a warm feel. Finally, the wine barrel stave railing tie it all together.
